History

What started in Basel in 1993 as a one-man business is now an owner-managed company with more than 20 employees. IMK Ltd. has certainly changed since it was founded, but our company philosophy is the same: we promote interprofessional and interdisciplinary communication and exchange within the Swiss healthcare sector with passion and style.

1993: IMK Ltd. is founded

1995: SHS Administrative Management

Taking on of the administrative management of the newly founded Swiss Headache Society (SHS)

1997: SNS Annual meeting

The Swiss Society of Intensive Care Medicine (SSICM) hands over its general secretariat function to IMK Ltd.

2005: Generation change

Harald F. Grossmann joins IMK Ltd. as Managing Partner

2005: SSNS Administrative Management

IMK Ltd. takes on the administrative management duties of the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery (SSNS)

2006: SSNS Communication Workshop

Three-day communication workshop with the board of the SSNS

2008: Annual Meeting "100 Years SNS"

IMK Ltd. organises the 100th Annual Meeting of the Swiss Neurological Society (SNS), in which a total of seven associations from the field of clinical neurology participated

2009: Foundation SFCNS

The Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies (SFCNS) is founded with the facilitation of IMK Ltd., which takes on its general secretariat function

2010: SSNR Administrative Management

The Swiss Society of Neuroradiology (SSNR) entrusts IMK Ltd. with its administrative management

2010: 1st SFCNS Congress

Organisation of the 1st SFCNS Congress in Basel with the participation of 12 member associations

2011: SNS General Secretariat

The Swiss Neurological Society (SNS) commissions IMK Ltd. with its general secretariat function

2011: SSInf congress organisation

The Swiss Society of Infectiology (SSInf) assigns IMK Ltd. with the organisation of its Annual Meetings

2011: 1st SGIM Great Update

Drafting and implementation of the 1st SGIM Great Update (Swiss Society of Internal Medicine)

2012: First board meeting SSICM

The SSICM commissions IMK Ltd. with the moderation of its first board meeting

2013: SSORL General Secretariat

IMK Ltd. takes on the general secretariat function of the Swiss Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (SSORL)

2013: SSU Congress Organization

The Swiss Society of Urology (SSU) assigns IMK Ltd. with the organisation of its Annual Meeting.

2014: New owner of the IMK Ltd.

Harald F. Grossmann becomes the Managing Owner of IMK Ltd.

2017: SSO full mandate

The Swiss Society of Ophthalmology (SSO) assigns IMK Ltd. with its administrative secretariat function, the organisation of congresses, and its financial management

2018: Company Anniversary

IMK Ltd. celebrates its 25th anniversary

2021: The Swiss Intensive Care Medicine Foundation

The SSICM entrusts IMK Ltd. with the preparation and support of the foundation's establishment

2022: 50 years SSICM

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, IMK Ltd. organises the SSICM annual conference including a ceremony in Basel and publishes an anniversary brochure with the milestones of the SSICM since its foundation in 1972 until today.
